This is a two-day course to help prepare candidates for a Cave 1 assessment.
The holder of this qualification can organise and instruct groups in horizontal caves where short vertical single pitches are expected and active streamways may be encountered.
NZOIA subsidises all courses by sourcing funding through organisations such as Sport NZ.
