The Southern Hemisphere Alpine Conference (SHAC) is back in 2019. SHAC occurs every two years and is the only event of its kind in the southern hemisphere, bringing together snow safety professionals, commercial snow and alpine organisations, guiding companies and industry influencers for two days of collaboration. SHAC will provide you with the opportunity to engage with key industry professionals and decision makers helping to shape the future of alpine snow safety. SHAC has three key objectives; To provide a platform for people interested in alpine snow environments to share ideas, network and enhance their knowledge and practical skills, to build strong partnerships that connect our alpine community together, and to generate opportunities to develop future strategies and collaborations that help more people stay safe in the outdoors.

Tickets: these are available via the website below and all options are explained. However, this year we want to highlight two exciting new options:

  1. We have introduced early bird tickets which are on offer until 8 May
  2. Tertiary student tickets – valid students studying a recognised outdoor education programme in NZ can access discounted tickets – Contact Loic Lassueur for details on how to access this

Want to present? Contact Loic Lassueur

From here interested parties can access the programme, registration page, list of partners and exhibitors, location and venue details and register for the email list.
