Theme: ‘Nature as part of Therapy’

(While food provides the blood in our veins, our health is drawn from the land)

When? 3rd May (official opening at 7.30pm) to 5th May (closing 1pm, after lunch) 2019.

Where? One Big Adventure, Carey Park, West Auckland

For who? Anyone who works in, or is interested in Adventure Therapy or related fields. This could include,
but is not limited to, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, Social Workers, Whanau Ora workers, Outdoor instructors and similar fields.

Why? Connect with the community of Adventure, Nature and Experiential based practitioners while having a heap
of fun in a beautiful location. Deepen your understanding of Adventure Therapy in Aotearoa. Engage in Academic
and practical applications of Adventure Therapy. Support, connect, learn from and encourage others who work in a
similar field.

The programme will includes a mixture of workshops and presenters, as well as time to mix, adventure and connect with others. We are very excited to announce that we have two awesome keynote speakers - Nevin Harper from Canada and a very special tangata whenua speaker who can’t quite be announced yet! Watch this space though!

Registration fee : Registration includes Fri, Sat night accommodation; Dinner Fri night through to lunch Sunday;
Early Bird cost (before 15th April 2019): $290.00 pp
Student rate/Unwaged: $220.00 pp
Late Bird (after 15th April): $340.00
