A 2-day River Rescue 1 course for recreational and professional paddlers run by the Hillary Outdoors Education Centre Tongariro.
This training course is for recreational and professional paddlers to better enable them to safely paddle with their peers, when leading a group, or when providing an instructional or guided experience. It is a pre-requisite to NZOIA Kayak 1 and will closely follow the NZOIA and WhiteWater NZ syllabi
