This is a two-day pre assessment training course to help prepare candidates for the Sea Kayak 2 assessment.
The Sea Kayak 2 qualification is for people who organise, lead and instruct in all aspects of the skills required for multi-day sea kayak expeditions.
Complete the NZOIA Sea Kayak 2 Summary Sheet and a logbook as part of your training for the assessment. You do not need to have the required logged days to attend the training course.
NZOIA subsidises all courses by sourcing funding through organisations such as Sport NZ.
