    For those organising and leading others in multi-day overnight trips into remote, un- tracked terrain extending above the bush-line, in all weather conditions and seasons, where ropes are not usually required.

    Applicable NZOIA 1 qualification
    Be 20yrs or over (at time of assessment)
    Logbook - Bush

    The holder of this qualification can organise, instruct and lead multi-day tramping trips in moderate and hard bush terrain. Trips can extend above the bushline in summer conditions (without snow and no snow forecast). Patches of old snow may exist and can be crossed where no sliding potential exists. Trips above and below the bushline can be in remote, untracked terrain. The assistance of a rope may be required.

    The assesment begins in the evening at 7pm followed by three full days.
