Re-joining NZOIA

If you are a previous NZOIA Member - welcome back! You can choose to re-join at any stage.

You have two options depending on whether you want to use your previous qualifications.

Option 1: Re-join only

If you simply want to return as a member and you’re not planning to use your previous NZOIA qualifications, we can reactivate your existing NZOIA profile.

Associate Membership 

Between Jan - Mar 26: $60 - 25/26 Associate Membership (valid from payment up until 30 June 2026)

Between Apr - Mar 27: $60 - 26/27 Associate Membership (valid from payment up until 30 June 2027)

Registered Membership

Between Jan - Mar 26:  $117.50 - 50% off current year's Registered Membership (valid from payment up until 30 June 2026)

Between Apr - Dec 26:  $235.00 - 26/27 Registered Membership, 25% off for Full time NZ Students (valid from payment up unitl 30 June 2027)

 

Option 2: Re-join and Re-registration

There are two pathways for previous NZOIA members who wish to re‑join and re‑register their qualifications. The pathway you follow depends on how long your qualification has been unregistered:

 

NZOIA RCC pathway:

If your qualification/s are more than two years  past their reval due date, apply via the NZOIA RCC process to re-join NZOIA and RCC your qualification/s.

 

Re-registration pathway:

You can use the re‑registration pathway if your qualification is still within its current revalidation period, OR if it’s no more than two years overdue.

You will be required to pay the current year's Registered Membership and a re-registration fee. If your qualification/s is due for revalidation you will also need to attend a 1 day Refresher Workshop within two years of the revalidation due date.

Registered Membership

Between Jan - Mar 26:  $117.50 - 50% off current year's Registered Membership (valid from payment up until 30 June 2026)

Between Apr - Dec 26:  $235.00 - 26/27 Registered Membership, 25% off for Full time NZ Students (valid from payment up unitl 30 June 2027)

Plus Re-registration Fee:

This fee covers the cost of re-registering your qualification/s and is also a contribution to maintaining NZOIA's qualifications system and compliance costs.

            Unregistered for 1 year - $60 

            Unregistered for 2 years - $120

            Unregistered for 3 years - $180

            Unregistered for 4 years - $240

            Unregistered for 5 years - $300

            Unregistered for 6 years - $360

            Unregistered for more than 6 years - Apply for NZOIA RCC
