Outdoor First Aid (1-Day) - Run by Peak Safety Ltd
Develop and refresh emergency care processes in a practical manner using outdoor scenarios in demanding environments. Unit standards are available as below.
Duration: 8 hours
Spend the day developing and refreshing emergency care processes in a practical manner. We use multi-media presentations, individual experiences and scenarios developed to reflect likely emergencies in your business or recreational environment.
What to bring: Lunch / snacks & drink bottle, a pen & paper may come in handy too!;
To ensure you get the most out of your course, please dress in preparation for a few outdoor scenarios tailored to the weather conditions on the day. Suitable footwear and a jacket are ideal if a bit cooler, or looking like rain.
Prerequisites
There are currently no course prerequisites for this course, however, if you are sitting assessment for Unit Standards 6401 & 6402 or for Unit 6400, please see below:
Unit standards 6401 and 6402 are available on our 1 day course. Unit 6400 is available if you already have 6401 and 6402. If you need to sit the entire 6400 series, you will need to do so on our 2-day Outdoor First Aid Course.
