This is a two-day pre assessment training course to help prepare candidate for a Canoe Guide assessment.
The Canoe Guide qualification is for people who guide multi-day canoe trips on rivers with up to class 2 white water.
Complete the NZOIA Canoe Guide Summary Sheet and a logbook as part of your training for the assessment. You do not need to have the required logged days to attend the training course.
This course may run in conjunction with other courses of the same discipline at a different level.
NZOIA subsidises all courses by sourcing funding through organisations such as Sport NZ.
