An adapted MSC Avalanche Skills Course 2 intended for aspirant alpine and bush instructors or those wanting to refresh their avalanche skills with a complete course. Includes food and accommodation.
This coures is provided by the New Zealand Snow Safety Institute and is based at Temple Basin in Arthurs Pass.
The instructor on this course holds ARM L6 and will assist with including relevance to the outdoor industry where possible.
This course counts as a prerequisite avalanche coure to NZOIA Alpine 1. It has also been approved as an alternate revalidation for NZOIA Alpine 1 holders. Contact the NZOIA offfice to ensure you are eligable for an alternate revalidation cycle.
