NZOIA Board Nominations 2024
One elected NZOIA Board position has become available.
The NZOIA Board consists of four positions elected from the membership and three positions appointed by the Board.
Being on the NZOIA Board brings responsibility, challenge and the opportunity to make a difference to the organisation and wider outdoor industry. It is a chance to engage at a governance level with a national outdoor sector organisation that has contributed significantly to raising outdoor instructing and guiding standards since 1987. Board members are expected to prepare well for meetings, to be active contributors to strategic discussions and to act in the best interests of NZOIA as a membership organisation that represents "Excellence in Outdoor Leadership".
NZOIA elected board members will serve a three year term.
Nominations
Elected Board members must be a current Registered member of NZOIA with a registered NZOIA qualification, and their nomination supported by another NZOIA member.

The NZOIA Board will convene an SGM on Wed 1 May at 7:30pm, online, for the purpose of electing a new board member.
Late nominations will be taken up to the date of the SGM and announced as received. If you are a current Registered or Honorary Member with a registered NZOIA qualification you are able to vote at the SGM.
The meeting link, and access to an electronic voting form will be provided prior to the meeting via email (for those eligible to vote) and the NZOIA 4YA.
Should only one nomination for the vacant board position be received, that nominee will be considered duly elected, with no requirement for the SGM to proceed.
